Thank you for joining my website where I will be promoting my work and posting updates on upcoming projects. Right now, I am feverishly working on completion of my second short story collection, The Legends Of Indian Narrows: Ghostly Childhood Memoirs. This is a collection of stories and folklore I heard growing up in my old neighborhood in the western part of Jefferson County, Alabama, as well as some of my own spooky experiences while living there.
Also in the works is a novel titled Haunts. This was originally a screenplay I wrote back in 2006 and attempted to market. No movie ever came of it but recently I decided to turn it into a novel to see how it does. The story centers around a college girl named Marla who possesses the ability to see spirits, both good and evil, around us that normal people cannot see. Marla joins a paranormal group in her quest for answers to her problem. Along the way, as the investigations intensify, she learns that there is more to her gift than she ever imagined and that good and evil forces are battling for her soul.
I look forward with great excitement to the publication of my first book Thanksgiving Hen On A Chicken Shed: Stories My Grandmother Told Me which should release later this year. This is a collection of stories my grandmother used to share about growing up in Alabama during the 30's and 40's. She told some wonderful stories, and I am pleased to share them and pass them down to the next generation.
Please check back often for updates. Thanks again for joining!
